β β β β β One of good fishing spots and very safe with kids but the only advantage is the toilet is far away. There are plenty of parking and itβs free. Plus you can see the harbour bridge as well. I love this place

β β β β β Great little spot with amazing views of Auckland City. Although at night alot of drunks roll down acting up. Also good spot to cast a rod out on a high tide. All in all kts a really nice spot if only drunk people didn't come down and spoil it

β β β β β People are not friendly down there.. Most of the time it's full of drunk teenagers using the gravel car park. Wouldn't recommend going at night.
The management is terrible and really rude to people. Me and my family felt un welcome.

β β β β β Great place to take the kids fishing for small bait fish. Maybe if you are lucky you might get a snapper big enough to keep. I was lucky enough to catch a stingray. He seemed pretty annoyed about it so we let him go back to his business.

β β β β β This place is stunning. Really beautiful. Great place to hangout with friends and family for a fishing day out. Quite a long walk to the bay but plenty of space to cast your line. Highly recommended.

β β β β β Great facility for the public to enjoy. The breakwater is lengthy and makes for a nice walk especially on a hot summer day. At the end are many pontoon areas that are great for fishing. Highly recommended. A++
