Vision for Bayview Community Centre
The Bayview Community Centre is the hub of Bayview; it provides services and resources to enhance the well-being of the Bayview community and to empower residents to make a difference.
Purpose/Mission
The purpose of Bayview Community Centre Association Incorporated society is to:
Provide accessible and affordable programmes, services, facilities, resources and shared experiences so residents of all ages, cultures and interests can come together to make friends, learn from each other and better ourselves, our environment and our community;
Enhance social and cultural well-being by creating a sense of pride in belonging to the Bayview Community;
Facilitate asset-based, community-led development;
Build and maintain a friendly, well-connected, safe, resilient and prosperous community.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What can I say Bayview community centre is the heart of the town the people I met there were friendly and the noticeboard shows an awful lot going on oh and there is next door a coffee shop called on Auntie's and she makes amazing coffees and it's very friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I attend this centre as part of the Auckland Sewing Connection. It has all the right amenities for us. eg power points, tables, chairs, kitchen & great natural light & lighting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Huge hall and reso able price. Can host an event for up to 150 people. There is a small stage and a TV and speakers, kitchen. It's self contained and perfect for a small gathering. There is lots of on premise and on road parking around.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We hired the hall for my daughters first birthday and she had a great time. Lots of room for all the kids to run around and we hired the bouncy castle. So much fun

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited the Community Centre on Saturday afternoon as it was opened up for a Special occasion.
At the same time, in the main hall, there was a massive exchange exhibit of Puzzle's that us run by the Centre once a month and you can bring in your puzzles and exchange them for others, there was a serious about of puzzles on display. Numerous people were there, all going through the covid protocols, scanning in and doing social distancing.
There is continuous outreach to the community and foodstuff available for free for those who need help.
After our Special occasion was completed, also involving the wider community, I left the most awesome and helpful team behind, will catch up with them in the near future.
It was such an honour to haveing been involved with them, keep well and stay safe.
