★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a nice round of golf there. Upon leaving a man who must be affiliated with the club pulled up and asked to see our green fees receipts. We showed him and he left. He turned up 5 minutes later and took my car registration and said he was going to check to see if we had paid and then call the police if we hadn't. We are not sure why he did this as we were polite and cooperative, and he was abusive and unfriendly. We always pay our fees in full and do not know why he was acting like he was better than us. It's a shame as this is a good budget course but we were not made to feel welcome and treated like criminals. We were both well dressed and did not disrespect the course. I have never experienced this ever before and would recommend going to another course.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful, picturesque setting right in the heart of the town belt, friendly people, course well maintained. A great way to spend an afternoon and another reason why Dunedin is a great place to live!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Course is alright but the manager needs replacing. We paid course fees and after two holes he turned up and began acting like an absolute tosser. He tried to tell us that we had repeatedly ripped if off (when we had only ever been twice- both times fees were paid) and that we were never to come back to his course again. He wouldnt refund us our money and said that he would call the police if we didnt leave. If you have no interest in dealing with an arrogant snob then i would not recommend wasting your time with this course.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As an out of town visitor it was pleasing to find a nicely presented Course in the middle of the city for a quick 9 holes at the same price it costs me to play at home in the country. The spectacular views of Dunedin along with the friendly and helpful locals who pointed out the local landmarks made the experience all the better. Thank you Belleknowes I'll be back for more next time I'm in Dunedin.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great 9-hole course! Great variety between the holes with some undulating, some flat, and a few bunkers to keep it interesting. The greens keeper has done a great job. Gordon and the team at the club are very friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was no golf cards available with a map to show visitors the way around the course. Unfortunately couldn't find the 7th and 8th hole. An available toilet would have been good also. Else the course was quite challenging. Greens were running fast so beware.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As an active golfer I can not recommend this course at all. The greens were absolutely terrible (like the groundsman has been on holiday for a month) to the point where they were unplayable, due to not being cut at all. Fairways were covered with daises making it impossible to find my balls (lost about 5). Might start going to J Tees or Gladfield as they are certainly also cheaper and in way better condition.
