★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have just popped into this store,, am visiting from out of town. Was shocked at the jumbled state of the store. Could hardly get in the door for several large boxes. Fabric and shelves hardly accessible and very untidy. No staff greeted us or offered assistance. Disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a few items i needed repairing a few weeks ago. Small alterations, a few buttons on a dress, 2 holes in a pair of pants and some tears on a few blouse. Also a zip on a dress and some buttons on a coat. I had 7 items in total and was charged $92.50. I thought WOW that's quite expensive but as we had just come out of lock down i wanted to support a small business. I paid the sum and was advised my items would be ready the following Friday (6 days). That was fine. The next week when i returned to pick up my items, the women told me there was an extra $30 i would need to pay...i told the lady who i assume was the owner that i did not feel comfortable paying an additional $30 on top of the $92.50 i had already paid. She proceeded to tell me that, the person who did the alterations had spent an entire day on them and that i needed extra things done. I asked her to show me what additional repairs were needed, and she literally picked up every single item and told me what was repaired (which was what i had paid for). She could not tell me what "additional repairs" were made on my items. I said to her, if their were more repairs made you should have informed me so i can confirm-Yes (and make the payment upon pick up), or No (and not proceed with the "additional" repairs). I also said, I wasn't happy with the initial price and she said, "Your the first person to complain about our prices!!!". I was quite shocked to be honest. I asked her numerous times if she can give me an itemized break down on what repairs were done on each item and the cost (as a customer i am rightfully entitled to this information), and she said I'll just take the buttons off the jacket, i repeated, No, I would like a breakdown of the cost per item and what repairs were done and she said No, I'm taking the buttons off the jacket, so she grabbed my jacket and cut the buttons off!!!! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND, HOW EXTREMELY RUDE THIS PERSON WAS AND A LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. Extremely disappointing and you have tarnished your business. I hope you take your car to a mechanic one day and get a quote and then charged for "extra repairs" without consultation.That would be the ultimate Karma.
