BestStart Grey Lynn, is a special childcare centre located in a quiet, secluded spot just outside of Ponsonby and close to Westmere. Our location provides easy access for parents/whanau with plenty of parking just outside.
About BestStart Grey Lynn
We are a New Zealand-owned charity with preschools, kindergarten (kindy), Montessori and early-childhood home-based services nationwide.
BestStart has over 260 early childhood centres from Whangarei to Invercargill. All our centres use the New Zealand curriculum Te Whāriki, preparing children for their formal education at school. Our trained teachers support children to belong, thrive and achieve through the world-recognised philosophy of learning through play.
Our commitment to every parent ensures every child is cared for and supported in a warm, friendly and positive environment. We have excellent staff-to-child ratios, with qualified and caring teachers, quality equipment, toys and a safe and attractive learning environment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When my two year old boy started this centre, the teachers in the baby room made a lot of efforts to get to know him and to settle him. My son's primary care giver even changed her shift to be there to make him comfortable at drop off time in his first week. Now he is in over 2 room, he really loves being able to play in the rain with his raincoat and gumboots on. I love this centre's focus on sustainability.
