BestStart Mangere East is childcare and education centre located in the heart of vibrant South Auckland, near Massey Road. We have 6 rooms which cater for our precious babies, right up to our preschool rooms for our busy 5-year-olds.
About BestStart Mangere East
We are a New Zealand-owned charity with preschools, kindergarten (kindy), Montessori and early-childhood home-based services nationwide.
BestStart has over 260 early childhood centres from Whangarei to Invercargill. All our centres use the New Zealand curriculum Te Whāriki, preparing children for their formal education at school. Our trained teachers support children to belong, thrive and achieve through the world-recognised philosophy of learning through play.
Our commitment to every parent ensures every child is cared for and supported in a warm, friendly and positive environment. We have excellent staff-to-child ratios, with qualified and caring teachers, quality equipment, toys and a safe and attractive learning environment.

the manager is really lovely and understanding.
I return my daughter to this scahool because their resources are great and the teachers are lovely, the parking is very convenient.
totally recommended for all parents to send your child or children there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome centre, great teachers, quality resources and above all beyond expected warmth and welcoming feel. I had my 8months old son start at the centre (infant room) from last year. We are not moving him until he is 5years old- literally because of the great care and nurturing in the infant room, very home like feel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great centre - my son has attended for almost a year and there is a definite change in not just his behavior but his confidence as well.
The centre has ample off street parking and amazing resources. The teachers are well trained, happy and friendly and the office staff couldn't help you enough.
The teachers treat my son as their own when he is here and I trust them with him 300%

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The transition is super fast for my son. He is four but can utter only few words and he is so hyper active. I am glad, his teachers manages to bring the change, today is his second week and I could observe the change in his behaviour and his responses to his surroundings, I am super proud and surprise that he is more calm. His first week he was crying which gave me a hard time LOL but I am grateful, the teachers understood my feelings as I left, I reached home and they called telling me that he is OK. I came and picked him up and he did not want to leave. His second week, OMG! he love the school and his teachers, he waved to his teachers as we arrived and he just say byebye to me and went to his teachers then join the other kids. I hope this is the best thing a parent is expecting, good connection between your child and their teacher... the management staff are so helpful! Best Start Mangere East is awesome, I would recommend this school to all.... I am the kind of person that hardly trust anyone to handle my son, as I only understand him and his conditions but now I think I am jealous of Best Start LOL, he loves them and enjoys the environment!
