We are a New Zealand-owned charity with preschools, kindergarten (kindy), Montessori and early-childhood home-based services nationwide.
BestStart has over 260 early childhood centres from Whangarei to Invercargill. All our centres use the New Zealand curriculum Te WhΔriki, preparing children for their formal education at school. Our trained teachers support children to belong, thrive and achieve through the world-recognised philosophy of learning through play.

β β β β β Would absolutely recommend to all family and friends as Beststart Powells road has done wonders for my girl, the staff are always informative and very friendly, the activities trips, play times and celebrations are planned out so well that my girl has learnt such a lot and the environment is family orientated Well done and Thank you to all staff making this possible, you have become another part of our family our 'Kindy Family'....
