About BestStart Raureka
We are a New Zealand-owned charity with preschools, kindergarten (kindy), Montessori and early-childhood home-based services nationwide.
BestStart has over 260 early childhood centres from Whangarei to Invercargill. All our centres use the New Zealand curriculum Te WhΔriki, preparing children for their formal education at school. Our trained teachers support children to belong, thrive and achieve through the world-recognised philosophy of learning through play.
Our commitment to every parent ensures every child is cared for and supported in a warm, friendly and positive environment. We have excellent staff-to-child ratios, with qualified and caring teachers, quality equipment, toys and a safe and attractive learning environment.

β β β β β Nothing but thanks and appreciation for these ladies and all they did for my little family. Great for babies and getting ready for big kid school. Miss them so much. Only changed as moved town, we had 3 happy years with them.

β β β β β I've been sending these lovely ladies my babies since 2010 a few of them are still there to this day, they are an amazing team of caring and genuine people who take their jobs of taking care of our tamariki seriously. i have never had any problems with my children going here and they have been for over 10 years now. The Centre has changed names since 2010 but the whanau feel is still the same! If I could go back in time and send my eldest kid here i would. Thank you to the amazing team at BestStart Raureka for all you do for my whanau!
