About BestStart Weymouth
We are a New Zealand-owned charity with preschools, kindergarten (kindy), Montessori and early-childhood home-based services nationwide.
BestStart has over 260 early childhood centres from Whangarei to Invercargill. All our centres use the New Zealand curriculum Te Whāriki, preparing children for their formal education at school. Our trained teachers support children to belong, thrive and achieve through the world-recognised philosophy of learning through play.
Our commitment to every parent ensures every child is cared for and supported in a warm, friendly and positive environment. We have excellent staff-to-child ratios, with qualified and caring teachers, quality equipment, toys and a safe and attractive learning environment.

To all of you who participated, contributed and helped Lameko's learning development to become better, thank you so much for your great job. I know it not easy but you did your best in teaching and put all your excellent efforts to develop or even enhance the development of Lameko and of course I see the big change of your teaching in Lameko's learning and development. Over this time we have watched Abigail blossom from a fairly shy baby into a confident, happy, determined and busy toddler. We can't thank you enough for providing such a nurturing, loving, stimulating and happy environment for Abigail which has enabled her to soak up new knowledge and grow and develop new skills so rapidly. It’s always hard to send her every morning but we never doubted the care Abigail gets from this team. It has been such a positive introduction to Early Childhood Education for us.
