★ ★ ★ ★ ★ CAUTION BUYER BEWARE :
I purchased a custom 4 filter system in December 2021 and my Better Water Filter system arrived damaged in the box due to the fact the filter wasn’t wrapped with any protection inside the box and Better Water Filters not only would not replace it but Greg and Gail Woods accused me of damaging it.
Also more importantly I was never informed that the connecting Filter housing pipe threads are American N.P.T. threaded which are not compatible with the Australian/NZ B.S.P. ( British Standard Pipe) threads and N.P.T. fittings are not sold in New Zealand anywhere. I was told to just put teflon tape on it and do them up (which would cross thread the connections weakening the joints) After being refused a refund I have now lodged a complaint with the NZ Disputes tribunal due to be heard on the 18/3/2022. I have also attached my receipt as proof of purchase. Anyone feel free to contact me for the full text/email screen shot history with Better Water Filters I also filed with the disputes tribunal showing their unprofessionalism and rudeness since they received my payment.
