BGT Actors Models & Talent is New Zealand’s leading film and TV talent agency established in 1998 by actress, accent coach, and former-casting director Sarah Valentine. When Lord of the Rings fever hit New Zealand, Sarah recruited over 300 extras in preparation. The agency she always wanted to start, to help other people's dreams come true, was then formed as Background Talent. In 2015 a name ‘tweak’ to BGT heralded the new face of a highly regarded agency with unsurpassed reputation to encompass the three divisions of Actors, Models and Talent/extras.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been with BGT since 2014 when I was in Christchurch and since arriving up in Auckland I have had a tonne of work and met heaps of people on set who are now my really good North Island friends.
All talent agencies seem to be the same when it comes to fees, etc. However most people I’ve meet on set are represented by BGT, so they are one of the most established and trusted talent agencies with friendly staff who are clear and concise with what is required of you and speaking to other talent who are represented by other agencies, BGTs booking system is by far the best and easiest for talent to mark themselves available with.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone considering joining!

I joined this Awesome Agency by chance
I have had nothing but an Abundance of Work (over 150 Gigs) Varying from Modelling, T.V commercials ,Feature Films, Mini Series, Netflix Specials. I even had a Supporting Role on "The Making of the Mob Chicago,( If you Google it I'm on the Poster next to AL Capone #BodyGuard)
Our Beloved LeaderThe Amazing Sarah Valentine and her awesome Proffession Team have outdone themselves with The Quality of Work offered over the years.
The yearly Fee is reasonably priced @$150
Which in comparison to the work available is a drop in the Bucket ?
The website is simple to use with a calenderised system, you choose days and times of availability, You will be informed of upcoming jobs and submissions to said jobs you will be given adequate notice and communication is a fundamental with BGT
It is the Best Second Job Ever
I wouldn't recommend any other agent for Background Extras, Modeling or Talent work. I stake my Name and Reputation on it
