★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely disappointing service. Fell in love with a couch, told in store that there were none in stock and they will order it in, will take 5 weeks. Provided us with a loan couch, so we paid the price of the loan couch and we were to pay the remaining amount for our ordered couch once it arrived. 6 weeks later we had not heard a word from anyone. Queried by phone to be told we had to wait another 3 months! 3 months later still have not heard from big save. contacted them ourselves to be told ANOTHER MONTH. No explanation other than "there is a delay". No help whatsoever from staff or managment and the lack of communication was appalling. Finally received our couch after waiting over 4 months and they could not even get it delivered at the time we asked.
Prior to this debacle, we bought our bed from here and waited an extra week for it to arrive because no one had told us it had actually already arrived in store. Need to work on better customer care. NEVER purchasing from Big Save ever again.

Customer service experience was very disappointing, which I see from a number of other reviewers.
We ordered a bed which arrived on time. We took the 2 hour round trip to collect it and when we got home found out they had given us the wrong parts and no instructions. When we called Big Save we was told we would be called back, wasn’t and had to do the following up. We was told they would not send out the correct parts to us, we would need to do the 2 hour round trip again, “it cost them too much”. So we had to pick up the slack.
We are was promised a call back from the manager, never happened. Really no ownership of the cusp yet service.
Never received the instructions as promised through email, luckily wasn’t too complex, but never worked out what some of the screws were for.
Will not be in a hurry to go back.

Well located and pretty big setup.
Nicely staffed.
Good ambiance.
Was impressed by their pre-sales and marketing. The follow-up on the order placed and payment process was smooth as well. Enjoyed interacting with the staff who are cordial, helpful and good at what they do.
Service is friendly and amiable.
Spacious parking area. Wheelchair parking is available and there is wheelchair accessible entrance.
The only problem occurred was in delivery. After reading the past reviews, you may think that you will make sure that your delivery is made on time but this may not happen the way you planned. The delivery is handled by a third party which is apparently an expert at delaying it, no matter how hard you try.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered the downtown chaise couch in January 2021 pd deposit the Westgate store never bothered to keep me updated how long I was the one had to ring them said another month when I first ordered was going to be 6 weeks nearly 6 months waiting for a couch bit of a joke everyone I phoned same old on the end I got sick of it cancelled my order was hard thing to do loved the couch store at Westgate never offered a discount or free delivery or deal with the muck around not a happy customer they should of kept me In the loop what was happening I shouldn’t of had to ring lots times asking what’s happening piss poor service if you tell me never shopping big save again have been a customer with them over 10 yrs disappointing with them we recently brought a bed & bedroom furniture 2 weeks ago from harvery Norman stock arrrived harvery Norman is my new store great service on the ball lovely to deal with big save if you want to keep customers how about keeping customers in the loop

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Looked around everywhere for a soft, good quality mattress, my friend suggest I look at big save and I found the softness, mattress at an amazing price. The price was cheaper than other mattresses at all the other stores but the same quality and it came with a bed base too! Definitely recommend big save for any future. Also, got the mattress on the day, no wait!
