★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time for me here and it was one to remember. Coming back from a stint in Australia I thought the prices here were on point! The portions were just right and the selections plenty. I ordered the Lamb Shank and it was good! Was hoping it would fall off the bone but all is good. I still enjoyed it as well as the rest of the family. The service was above and beyond and the waiter was so patient with our table! Would definitely be back here. Give it a go if you're around the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My mate hired the place upstairs for a birthday party. We went there in the morning to decorate the place. Got there and the floor wasn't vacuumed and the walls are so dirty. The speakers not working so we had to bring our own. For the amount of money my mate paid for the hirage and stuff aren't in good condition!
During the event there was a bar tab going and the way they record the drinks was on pen and paper, come on now... there's no cash register, how would they know the total??? I don't see any calculator around??? So dodgee...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stars are for the customer service as they catered to our last minute Mother’s Day booking of 10pax. The whole place is pretty neat, lots of seating available indoors and outdoor, the toilets are clean. Bar is a pretty good set up, they also have the screens available with the league/sports on.
It would be 5 stars if waiting times for food weren’t so ridiculous. I get it’s busy especially for Mothers Day. Maybe they were short staffed but waiting times for food were well over an hour and the bigger family after us has to sit there and watch us eat they waited almost and hour and a half.
Yes we totally understand it is super busy, but the least they could do is when taking orders for larger groups of families maybe it’s wise to give them a heads up and let them know of the waiting times or even approach us while we are sitting there waiting the whole hour and communicate that meals are on their way or almost there just let us know there is a bit of a wait so we are aware as other families had children crying they were hungry so they sat there next to us watching us eat. The meal portions were very small for the price we paid extremely disappointing as we’ve had pasta more reasonably priced elsewhere and had double the portion we received that night. The gravy or whatever sauce it was on the steaks was not nice at all. It was terrible. Caesar salad with grilled chicken came with more cos lettuce than anything, poached egg was over cooked and the grilled chicken was probably two pieces of chicken tenders that were broken up into tiny bite pieces x Overall the experience was ok.

The atmosphere is really chill
The grill deal is really good, definitely worth the price
The cocktails are ok, the sticky date pudding is incredible

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had my 21st Birthday party here on January 29th and honestly had the best night. The Bartenders were amazing. They provided exceptional service. The drinks they made were also amazing. The food! Mwah! Beautiful ? cheers Black Salt. Will be back for more one day! Every single staff that served us that night were amazing. They were so nice and had provided the best costumer service I’ve had in a restaurant. And to the young waitress who accidentally spilled one of the drinks, good on you for staying calm and collected and reacting instantly. I hope you know you did just as good as a job as everyone else that night. And to my friend at the bar, my apologies forgot your name. Thank you for all the tasty drinks you made that night

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love the meals and friendly staff..Had to wait a long time for our meals and not a busy place that's why I gave 4 out of 5 stars. Went Saturday and Sunday evening for dinner. Lamb Shank a little dry but Fish and Chips yummy on Friday. Lamb Shank perfect and Garlic Prawns yummy on Sunday. Will be back!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here to celebrate a 40th birthday. Venue was immaculate on arrival even the downstairs bar and eatery too. Loved the vibe, staff were very attentive. Upstairs where the venue was held was clean, very spacious for dancing or games and it was away from the public eye. Bar attendant did a great job managing drinks and shots that night. A great place to hire for large functions. Highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We dined here on the steak special night, the food was soooo good and the service was great, especially the friendly barman. We enjoyed a couple of cocktails from the bar as well which were really nice and the prices were reasonable for food and drinks.
We recommend this place for a tasty meal and great customer service, we will definitely return to try other meals on the menu, I think next visit will be the 2 for 1 stone grill special.
