★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A small but comfortable hut. The trek in is heavy going, especially in the wet, but the majestic scenery and breath taking vistas is unforgettable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best walk in New Zealand for me. Less crowded than other ones a bit more popular. It seems that it's a path a bit more crowded now. In summer the hut is often full. The walk is a bit difficult. It means for me more fun, but for people with bad shoes or bad shape it is hard to climb.
