★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The BNZ is a good bank. They provide really good service. If a queue forms in the bank a staff member will question people in the line to see if they can be quickly helped. The staff are well trained and give you confidence that they know what they are doing. BNZ is a bank which supplies a full range of banking services. One plus is the car park behind the bank is BNZ's and if you are a customer you are entitled to park there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Understaffed, can't do anything without doing it online because of "covid". It seems like they are using "Covid" like an excuse not to do their job. Was told that that I had to go to another team to sort things out but turns out rangiora branch are the ones running said accounts.... Poor service and too quick to make you waste your time on the phone or driving between branches(5+hrs just on the phone... Don't you dare transfer me again. I am done being on hold and explaining just to go back to the last person.... sort your stuff out BNZ ?)
The BNZ also doesn't answer the phone or call you back when you leave a message so you have that to look forward to!

Would highly recommend the ANZ across the road as they can actually do their job and are quick and efficient at getting results unlike the BNZ.
