★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our dealings started on 11 Feb 2022 with Bodytech and we obtained a quote for the repair of our vehicle.
On 1 March we received a confirmation email from them in specific Stan that the part have been ordered and that our vehicle is booked in for repair on 21March.
Arrive there this morning 21 March to check in my vehicle for the repairs. At this point Stan gets on the phone to confirm the parts he supposedly ordered on 1 March but never followed up to confirm only to find out the quoted parts are no longer available.
He confirms my suspicion by admitting that he never followed up and through with the ordering of the parts, but this is where the funny part comes in….
He is happy to supply me with different parts at an additional cost of $1600 to the quoted amount of $3250 pushing the total to almost $5000 more than half the value of the car.
I am doing this review to warn future potential clients to be aware of this and secondly to make a statement that the CEO hopefully will notice and realize I will not even take a wheelbarrow to them to fix in the future based on my experience.
Poor service should not be tolerated any longer in NZ and businesses exposed as everybody is pleading poverty and is willing to provide poor service at top dollar.
