★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to fill up my car with 91 and my new Jerry can with diesel but was turned away as they are enforcing pre payment for fill ups now and I couldn't pre pay as I had no idea what it would come to as I was wanting to fill both to the top. In order to pre pay I had to give them an amount, which may or may not fill up my vehicle and container. Too much hassle. Went somewhere else.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A well-stocked BP that is quite clean and tidy. Counter staff member who served me was bright and cheery. Although I only bought petrol, the cafe seemed to be well-stocked for the time of day. There's no view or ambiance, but hey, it's a gas station! Prices of petrol are generally more expensive than Waipukurau, but often slightly cheaper than Hastings. Plenty of room at the pumps for larger vehicles like camper vans. Doing a right turn out of the exits can be an exercise in patience at various times during the day.
