About Bring Your Own Laptop Wellington
No dry and dusty text book based lectures – we walk you through actually using the software to create a result. Our hands on training means you actually come away knowing how to use Premiere for video editing, compositing, titling, compression and more!
You will receive printed notes written for specifically for the course you are taking, so you don’t have to struggle with note taking while engaged in using the software. We back this up with a year of email support, because we know you will have questions in the future.
If that’s still not enough, and you’re not sure you got it all the first time, you can resit the class again within a year completely free of charge.
Our classes are small, and you can bring your own laptop (just be sure it’s got the latest version of Premiere downloaded free from Adobe) or you can borrow one of ours, Mac or PC!
We encourage lots of questions, and the practical exercises you will work through are carefully designed to reveal the features of Premiere in a way that shows you all the major features and how they work together. If you are an existing Premiere Pro user, you’ll fill in the gaps in your knowledge and learn the ‘extra’ bits that make life easier – you will also learn the best way to make the most of Premier’s power.
Rather than trying to keep up with that teenager on YouTube who gives you half the information you need, or trying to labour through a text book with no feedback, come and join a likeminded group of enthusiastic real people in our central Auckland training centre. We know from experience you will enjoy learning without feeling ‘dumped on’ with too much theory – we are all about showing you how to do it, and revealing the why it’s done that way as you go.

β β β β β I attended the 3 day "HTML and CSS Web Jumpstart" at Bring Your Own Laptop on 28th April 2014. The course tutor was Carol Green and she was one of the best tutors I have ever experienced. Carol has an abundance of practical experience and knowledge in the field, but more importantly, she has an excellent teaching style... top communication skills, enabling the information delivered to be easy to understand, and an enjoyable learning process. The pace of the information delivered was perfectly timed, with a step-by-step "hands-on" approach so you were never left behind, and had time to absorb and understand the information. The smaller class size of 7 enabled individual attention if required, and yet still large enough for adequate social networking. I would recommend this course to anyone wanting either an introduction, or a refresher course in Web Design/Development.
