β β β β β These guys went above and beyond,I was in desperate need of a fuel pump for my old Mercruiser and contacted them at 9.30 am on New years eve,before midday I received a call they had collected my fuel pump personally and made it possible for my family and I to get out on the water....awesome service

β β β β β I had a 120HP Evinrude 2-stroke on my 6m Sea Nymph fiberglass runabout. It was loud, smoky (being 2-stroke) and consumed plenty of fuel (late 2020).
I spoke to Ray at Bryant Marine (Half Moon Bay, Auckland) and he suggested I go for a 150HP Mercury 4-stroke. It was the perfect solution. My boat can take up to a 175HP motor. The Mercury 150 is way more powerful than my old 120HP Evinrude, does not smoke, starts first time every time, and is unbelievable in fuel consumption. I am also amazed at how quiet it is. My rough estimate is that it uses half the fuel of my old 120HP 2-stroke. The old 120HP struggled to get up on the plane. The 150HP is impressively powerful and rises with ease - no need for a 175HP motor.
I should have upgraded years ago.
Ray is a gentleman, expert and pleasure to deal with. All the staff have been great. I highly recommend Bryant Marine.
I have not been sponsored or incentivised to make this recommendation. I'm just commending great service and sound advice.
I also wanted an auto winch so I could lower and raise the anchor from the steering wheel. That is a complex installation that requires boat-building/installation skills. Ray also organised that for me. I can work everything by myself (now retired) so when all my boating friends are at work, I can still go out!!! :)
