★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After a long drive from Auckland, we stop and found this restaurant, the staff are very nice and friendly. The food are amazingly good. Highly recommended and will most definitely comeback.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome fried chicken wings (not just a lower half of wing or the top half, but the full wing!) topped with in-house made BBQ sauce.
AMAZING butter chicken pie! Homemade pie crust with buttery chicken and sauce! Delish ??? My husband (chef for 10+ years and was a chef at Top 10 Auckland Cafés) highly recommends also.
If we're ever visiting or driving by Rotorua, we'll definitely make a stop here for some fried chicken and butter chicken pie.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thank goodness for Bula Takeaways, we stayed in Rotorua for a week and would've tried about 15 different places outside your regular food chains, they were awful to say the least, we rocked on up to Bula, it has a great self service smorgasbord and yummy cheesy fries not to mention the friendly service, thank you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall very disappointed. Curries were okay if overly sweet but burgers were tasteless, chicken was so overcooked it was mushy and fish was dry. Won't go again. Overpriced for the quality of food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ HANDS DOWN BEST FOOD PLACE/TAKEAWAYS IN ROTORUA. Homely meals, food self served in smorgasbord fashion, curries are so delicious. Cheese chips are delicious. Very friendly service as well :) Will come back again bula bula!

We come here since they opened, if we're in town and want fish and chips or their smorgasbord will always come here. Always been good value lovely people
