β β β β β Great shop for second hand guitars and other bits and pieces. Bill is a delightful man who brings a wealth of knowledge in music and has a great ear for a riff!
Iβll be there again sometime real soon!

β β β β β Met Bill the legendary store owner today and it was just so much fun chilling in the shop, looking at the beautiful guitars and sifting through vintage vinyl records. The store is straight up gorgeous.
I'm naturally introverted but I felt like I could speak to Bill forever and not feel the need to crawl back into my shell. He's the epitome of being larger than life and his love for life in general is definitely infectious.
While my friend was trying out the guitars, I got to speak to Bill and it was just so nice to hear him talk about his beautiful family, life experiences and his recording studio. Overall an amazing experience. 16/10 would recommend if you need some good secondhand instruments or if you just want to chill with Bill, or both cause' why not?
Also, blessed birthday, Bill! :)

β β β β β I had a very good buying experience from Bill's Music Shop recently. It was my first time to meet Bill but it seems like we were friends for so long. He is a friendly man. No matter how many questions you asked for about things related to his products, he is more than willing to answer you. If you are looking for vintage guitars or not old ones, don't hesitate to visit his shop. Excellent instruments with reasonable prices too.

β β β β β An Auckland institution run by an absolute gent.
Bill sold me my Rickenbacker 4100 sometime way back around 1990 and it was the start of a wild and beautiful journey.
So good to meet Bill again after almost 30 years and to see Bungalow Bills is still part of upper Symonds street.
Rock TF on!

β β β β β Walking into this place is taking a step into a time when people cared about what they were selling. First experience five years ago Bill, the owner, sat me down talked guitars, had me play a few then suggested one for me. It was great and perfect for the time. Flash forward, I'm clearer about what I want and Bill helped me fulfil that vision. Worth visiting for the integrity and the history on the walls.
