About Burger Wisconsin
The first Burger Wisconsin store opened its doors in the Wellington suburb of Wadestown in 1989.
It was the original NZ gourmet burger store and introduced combinations such as Avocado & Bacon and Camembert & Cranberry to the New Zealand takeaway market. We have been a proudly NZ owned and operated franchise since then, and have grown to 24 stores across the country.
While we’re NZ owned, leading the way for delicious healthy food in the burger market, we pay tribute to the history of great burgers through our name Burger Wisconsin, which reflects Wisconsin, USA’s title ‘Home of the Hamburger’.

Was given the managers number, contacted Anaru straight away. 1 week later still no response, didn’t bother chasing it up, will not return.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one burger joint that has to be given a chance. Great options on the menu to choose from, including vegetarian, and the food looks absolutely awesome when it comes out. And the kitchen looks really clean, and the garnishing is really fresh, and the burgers taste really great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Waited 1.5 hours for an internet order (3 burgers, chicken nuggets and 4 fries). When I got home, one of the burgers was missing. The rest of it was cold. Won't be going back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well in all honesty that was the worst I've had from them. It was a menulog order of: Kiwi Classic petite with avocado, camenbert, and pineapple: Kiwi Classic grand with bacon, and pineapple. Curly fries with satay sauce. A banana and a raspberry milk shake. Delivery by Menulog.
Well the extras were swapped, the egg yolk in both had leaked to the bottom of the box gluing the burgers to their boxes, they were over filled with lettuce, and the bases had gone soggy. The satay sauce was more like a pepper sauce, no taste of peanut. As for the milk shakes, they were ok, but oh those eco straws, ditch them. Ours were soft and broken by the time we got them, and too small tube diameter. As for the delivery driver, took the long way to me, via SH58, Postgate Dr, Amapere St, Warspite Ave, Conclusion St. Where SH1, Whitford Brown Ave, Conclusion St would have been quicker. Overall quality and standard was poor, definitely not as good as they use to be.
So only 3 stars.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tonight my Hubby and I had the Bbq Beef and Bacon Burger with a side of Curly Fries, and garlic mayo. The burger was so deliciously tasty, we would highly recommend it. It looked as good as the advertisement, which is highly unusual! lol The service was awesome, and the restaurant was kept lovely and clean.
