★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A large park with open grass fields for sports throughout the year such as Soccer, Rugby and Cricket. A squash club and tennis club are also located on the grounds. A playground and public barbeques are found on the Avonhead road side of the park. In recent years various exercise equipment has been added around the perimeter of the park. A good place to go for a jog or take your dog!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice for a walk, one of the biggest sub-urban parks in Christchurch and comes with a range of things to do, with a tire swing, bike track and for the sports people, football, rugby and cricket fields and a cricket batting cage, if you are interested you could join a the cricket rugby or lawn bowls club. Or watch the games there. Most of all it's a great big scenic park with fun for all ages whether it's a relaxing walk, a fun Kickabout or a sport.
