About Calvary Wellington
WHO WE ARE
Calvary Wellington is a church of Bible-believing Christians based in Lower Hutt and meeting at Naenae Primary School Hall. We are a diverse group who find our unity in the good news that God has saved us by the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. We seek to walk in the light of Christ and to shine as lights as we point each other and those in our community to Him. As a church we prioritise the teaching of God’s Word and in our services we teach through a book of the Bible chapter by chapter, verse by verse. We also emphasise Biblical worship, prayer, fellowship and communion which take place in our church services and other gatherings.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Our Sunday morning service starts at 10am and finishes around 11.30am. Each Sunday we enjoy an edifying time of worship in song and then it's Bibles open as we spend time teaching through God's Word. Creche and children’s ministry are available during service. After service there is opportunity to receive prayer and to fellowship with each other during morning tea. Before service we have a time of prayer at 9.30am. We share in communion on the first Sunday of each month.
