We adhere to The Code of Practice as prescribed by the New Zealand Dental Council guidelines. This is a comprehensive and constantly reviewed document that ensures your privacy, safety and human rights.

Every effort is made to facilitate us running on time. You will be allocated an appointment time slot appropriate to the planned treatment. Our software reminder system uses emails and text messages to remind you and in that way help you keep your appointments. We understand that things change and perhaps an appointment needs to be rescheduled. In that event 24 hours’ notice is required. Cambridge Dental reserves the right to charge for missed and late appointment changes.

Payment is usual on the day of treatment unless a prior arrangement has been made and agreed upon. In the case of comprehensive treatment a payment plan option can be discussed with your dentist.

I saw Ros for a dental emergency in 2018 and found her to be genuine, kind and very professional. Earlier this year I saw Graham for a check up and my opinion of this practice has not changed, he instilled further confidence in my decision to return. The extended team are all wonderful, I was comfortable from the moment I walked in. Looking forward to getting some work done, still waiting to get time off to come in.

My daughter has had the most horrific experience here and is still suffering 17months down the track. From a girl that never had any tooth or jaw problems up until getting veneers done by Ros.

1 year and 4 months ago I got Composite Veneers done with Ros, even now I am still experiencing 24/7 toothache from them and I lost a tooth from it, may have to lose another once healthy tooth that I got veneered here and got bad Tmj immediately after the veneers too. I have not received an apology or my refund back or any response that she will improve her conduct or service. I have and am still suffering greatly from this treatment.

Just thought I would share my own experience of Composite Veneers. Ros placed 6 upper anterior veneers about 2 years ago and I am delighted. I couldn't possibly afford porcelain veneers and in the process of this treatment there was no damage to my own healthy teeth. I couldn't be happier. :)

Hi Ailsa, we appear to have a glitch with our office gmail so I am responding in person. Thank you so much for your kind acknowledgement of Joyce. It is no mean feat taking over a well established and loyal patient base. None of us are that fond of change and to be honest it's hard for me to let go. I'm not that happy seeing my patient's in another dentist's chair:)! Joyce is a lovely person and a very skilled dentist and I know she is going to take good care of all of you. And to Aimee also, thank you for your kind words. It means a lot to Joyce and I and all of the team who support us to do this job. I find it extremely concerning to read a number of reviews where patients have suffered pain and/or negative impacts after receiving dental care from Cambridge Dental Practice. To read that a patient has suffered chronic pain from a procedure and then not received a refund or given an apology is saddening. These patients are valued family members and friends to others. Sadly, I have witnessed a loved one experience unneccessary prolonged pain after dental treatment effects at Cambridge Dental Practice. The impact goes beyond the individual patient, it also impacts the family and friends of the client. I hope Ros is able to professionally take ownership and responsibility of apologising and refunding clients who have experienced this sort of treatment. Please carefully consider receiving treatment, individually and also for your loved ones.

I recently visited Cambridge Dental after not going to the dentist in over 10 year's. Joyce was amazing in her approach, passing no judgement and doing a thorough assessment. She reassured me and made me feel at ease. I then turned up for my clean with hygienist and Joyce had passed on a recipe that we'd discussed at my last visit. Sian (hygienist) was friendly and chatted while doing her job. I appreciated her explanation as she worked and again great service. Friendly and efficient team ?

I am very impressed with Joyce Chieng at Cambridge Dental; had a root canal treatment this week. For twelve years Ros has "looked after my mouth" and I have great faith in her. To "move" to a new medical person is not easy but I can strongly recommend Joyce. She is professional, talented, friendly and accomplished. Do not be afraid to visit this dentist :)
