β β β β β Positive: Nathan and Raquel are the best hosts, and the kids are really funny! I had a very pleasant and quiet stay. It's true that is a little bit in the middle of nowhere but that's what makes it special. It's very quiet, I slept like a baby, and the location is perfect for your trip between Queenstown/Te Anau and Invercargill/Bluff. Breakfast included, too!.

β β β β β Positive: We had a great stay in camp taringatura. You share the kitchen and the main hall with the whole family and we had breakfast together with the kids. It really felt like home and the conversations were really nice. Thanks for this lovely stay..

β β β β β We stopped here on our way through to Invercargill for lunch (on the bike) and were very warmly welcomed in by the people and animals! It is a lovely spot, would be a great place to stay too! Very friendly dog, sheep and the family who run it. Thank you for having us and sharing your story!

β β β β β We were cycling around the South Island for 10 weeks with our children and needed somewhere quiet to stay between Invercargill and Mossburn on New Year's Eve. Camp Taringatura was perfect. We had a large cabin all to ourselves and access to a great kitchen filled with everything we needed to make a hearty meal. We thoroughly enjoyed resting in the hall catching up on some of our favourite shows before getting a much needed early night. A very friendly, old-school, family-style camp that was excellent value for money.

β β β β β Awesome fun to be had! Water added regularly, music played, seats provided some with shade. Can purchase bbq sausages and ice creams on the hot days.
Spend just 2 hr pass or do the full day and bring a packed picnic. Plenty of Room to lay a rug down where cars are parked
