★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Once again we had to tidy up and weed the three graves we went to visit. The grounds are in a terrible condition compared to how they used to be years ago. Such a shame that our loved ones are not being looked after any more.

Last time I visited from Australia I called to say my mum's rose bush had been removed as it had died. I told the person who took the call that Mum had chosen her spot because she thought the bush would produce red roses, but they ended up being chameleon.
I asked that when they replace the bush that it be a red rose.
I have been to visit this week. The flowers have died. Hard to tell what colour but definitely not red.
Sad.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well as far as a visit goes visiting the dearly departed goes I guess it was pleasant. The gardens are absolutely lovely and seating is dappled around, and if it all gets to much or if you just want and to sit and take a load off to-enjoy the serene surroundings there is a nice nook here or there to suit you. I was there for a new headstone reveal and it was a bit of a affair, I noticed a lovely lady discreetly in the back ground assisting people with various inquiries or directions. It was nice to know the Canterbury Memorial Gardens were making sure things went smoothly .
