★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Muriel was amazing in helping in my job search - setting me up with all sorts of contacts and meetings in Whangarei. Although in the end we decided to settle elsewhere, I've no doubt that Career Focus would have helped me to find work in the area if we'd decided to settle there. Would highly recommend to anyone seeking work or advice on employment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would highly recommend Muriel for advice for school leavers deciding what path and subjects they need to go on to further education. She has been invaluable to both my children, with helping to decide what subjects were needed, how to apply to University, applying for scholarships etc. If she didn’t know what we needed to know, she went the extra mile and found out for us. Muriel is very caring, patient and easy to talk too, I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending her.

Muriel is very easy to talk to and made me feel ultra enthusiastic about gaining future employment in a complete different industry. The CV Muriel compiled for me, I only used once. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I saw Muriel at Career Focus while i was in Year 13 at school. I had no idea of what direction I wanted to head in.
After spending time with Muriel talking to her about my interests etc she showed me lots of different ideas that ranged from University, Northtec and doing a trade. It was nice not to be pressured into one option.
I felt comfortable talking to her about lots pf options and nothing was a problem for her if I wanted to ask a question once I had left.
Muriel also had so much information regarding courses and scholarships too which was great to take home and read in my own time.
I would highly recommend seeing Muriel if you need help with finding a pathway after finishing school

She had always time to discuss certain job ads and how to adjust CV and cover letter to the language of the company. I highly recommend Muriel and CareerFocusNZ.

She helped with me to create employer adjusted CV's, cover letters and was always there for a short chat about the current (job) situation. I need to emphasize her commitment to find a job for me and introduce me to the kiwi way of seeking jobs. I can highly recommend CareerFocusNZ.
