★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Enjoyed the different and delicious food Nice and cozy restaurant, one of the biggest place comparing with other restaurants on the street, this place had Proper tables and room to breathe.
All the items on the menu got my attention, I had flaky garlic butter salmon, and it didn’t disappoint it to me at all. Great food, Great service, thanks for a wonderful brunch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went there for brunch yesterday. I ate creamy mushrooms on toast, that was tasty and my husband ordered the big breakfast. They served the meals together. My dish was hot, however his one was nearly cold. Not great when you are expecting a hot and hearty breakfast. We suspect his meal was prepared first and was sitting in the kitchen while they were creating mine. The cafe was about 40% full so it was not busy.
When we first came in, we were told by a staff member we can only access the menu at the counter so we waited in a queue. Once it was our turn we discovered there was a pile of menus there. We were given the menu to decide on what we wanted and had to queue again to place our order. This system feels very inefficient.
I have to say we were disappointed. Especially that I personally had great experiences here before.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I are regularly customers at Catalina Cafe. We have always been impressed with the friendly and prompt service given by all of the staff. The coffee is excellent and served the way we like it. It has a lovely ambience and outlook to the local park in one of the outdoor seating areas. Over the years we have seen many other regulars coming back time and time again. Including families bikers and walkers like us. I would highly recommend the cafe

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice little cafe situated next to the hobsonville point playground. It’s a popular spot for locals during the weekends. It’s an old building renovated to be a pretty cafe. Coffee is Okeish. Food is just ok. They got a fresh orange juice machine as well. I would give 4 stars.
