★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a cool store and amazing owner Dane. Super welcoming. And we got free freight on our purchases. Plus an added bonus he told us where to see the sea lions. We had been to every beach we'd been advised of and not seen them and he told us where to go. So with little time left to get to the airport off we raced and boom there they were right on the beach. And we got to see the big brute fighting with a younger one right in front of us as we got pelted by sideways rain. What an exhilarating experience. Plus there were chickens at the entrance to the beach and I love chickens. So not only did we get some cool purchases, a look around a very cool shop with history, we got an even cooler sea lion experience. Thanks Dane :-)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I only gave it a 5 star because there was no 6 . In the 8 mths travelling around NZ i have never been more impressed with a very large selection of giftware . And reasonably priced . DON'T drive past without stopping in. The owner Dane Catherwood is very welcoming and encouraged us to bring our little woof woof in with us. As you walk on thru it just keeps on going, 1 room after another ending with the man cave/museum out the back . The large wind ornaments can be shipped freight free to any address in NZ.
