About Central Motoring
It all started when…
Garry Coggan began Central Motoring in 1998 and his son Israel grew up working and learning alongside him, sharing in his passion for cars. They are both members of the NZ Jeep Club and have spent many years in the 4WD circuit.
In 2015 Israel took over the workshop and his dedication, integrity and work ethic has ensured it continues to have an excellent reputation for high quality automotive services. His many years of experience have made him a reputable and sought-after mechanic with owners of all brands of cars - from common Japanese car brands to rare collectables, old-school classics to new models with the latest technology.

β β β β β The best mechanics in town! I wouldn't trust any other mechanic to fix my car unless I had to move out of Auckland. Israel and his team are so hardworking and efficient. I always know they will give me the best deal possible but never at the expense of safety. They are always straight up and honest and I trust them to give me the best deal possible. I don't even live near the city but for years now, I have driven my car over 20kms, sometimes in rush hour traffic to Central Motoring, because after so many bad experiences with other car mechanics and rip-off jobs, this is the one place I feel confident taking my car for services, WOF and repairs.
