CentrePort Wellington - Pipitea
About CentrePort Wellington
As a major player in the import and export supply chains, CentrePort is ideally positioned to help our customers solve logistics challenges, improve efficiency and minimise costs.
CentrePort is not simply a gateway for the passage of cargoes, and our role in transport logistics extends well beyond the physical boundaries of the port. Our close relationship with service providers throughout the shipping and logistics industries enables us to bring together key parties, in order to develop innovative supply chain solutions on our customers’ behalf.
We are actively involved in helping customers streamline their operations at all stages, from pre-production to final delivery. We work closely with them, seeking an in-depth understanding of their businesses and unique logistics requirements.
We then call upon our vast expertise and contacts to offer suggestions, broker alliances and form partnerships with the aim helping our customers do business more effectively and, ultimately, more profitably.

β β β β β If your cruise ship stops here. You can't walk outside without taking the bus or arranged tour. I think its temporary since the last earthquake destroyed the last one.

β β β β β I work here. Every place has it's personalities. Every place has its Beautiful People. No place is perfect. It's our culture of improvement and inclusion and the drive we have to work on it that builds our business. Kia Kaha team. Keep the supplies moving and our economy healthy.

β β β β β I still wonder when we are going to repair this or build an actual dedicated cruise ship terminal.
Whilst it's not unique to not be allowed to walk inside a working port, it is unique for such a major city not to have a functional terminal. It's actually kind of embarrassing for thousands of international visitors to be greeted to the capital city by timber, containers and imported vehicles jammed between cranes and silos.
