Best Ramen restaurant in New Zealand

Y	Yang Squid on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a very promising place in my mind since I've seen positive reviews and I expected quality ramen with after order foods because of nice atmosphere . Somehow ramen tastes very average, more like they all taste bad just as like other japanese restaurants in auckland where try to get western customers by making a good looking place not even follow classic ramen taste from japan. Their noodle tastes like from factory, broth had no much flavor and every meats they topped on ramen broke it's balance way too much. I couldn't even finished it. Their ramen should be called as English Breakfast with noodle soup not ramen.
H	Hungry Teddy on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best noodle in Auckland. The beef brisket was soft and flavorful. The crispy chicken was crunchy and reminded me of japanese karage. Yummy. The noodle was priced around 20$. Lively atmosphere, good for two to three people group. It was a little bit noisy, but not too bad.

Then we got seated right next to the tills with no consideration that we are constantly bumping shoulders with people trying to pay during the covid 19 situation. Asked to move several times but either but declined or ignored. The meats in the noodles were very bland and needed salting.

Their rye noodles are wholesome and interesting, and the egg is cooked to perfection with a gooey golden soft boiled yolk. I had the vegetarian option. The price is fair for the quality. Look forward to trying more from their menu!
