With 12 years’ experience as a carpenter and project manager under his belt, in 2006 Chris made the bold move to go out on his own, founding Chris Bell Construction. With the intention of having a team of four or five skilled builders to support him, Chris's reputation preceded him and Chris Bell Construction quickly grew. 27 years’ experience in the building industry has given Chris the confidence to be a leader in his field, pioneering a way of working that is unique to him and his team. With a perfectionist’s eye for detail, Chris attracts like-minded individuals to his team, driven by a shared goal of delivering excellence in everything they do.
Chris is skilled at advising clients and their design teams on construction methodology and sequencing as well as the procurement of materials and tradespeople best suited to any given project. His staff are his greatest asset and so Chris is passionate about implementing and adhering to health and safety management procedures to best support all teams, both in-house and subcontractors. Good communication and client relationships are vital to the smooth running of any project and Chris loves nurturing this element of his work.
Chris never tires of the feeling that he gets watching a client’s ideas transform from a sketch on a piece of paper to reality, whether that be a completed commercial building ready for trade, or a client’s dream home. Being part of this journey is a constant source of pride and satisfaction.
