About Chris Loufte - Wedding Photographer - Auckland
I started photography professionally in 1996. Back them I worked mainly for New print and Magazines. The Print Media is all about capturing the moment and telling a story through photography. 5 years later I took those skills and became wedding photographer.
I still keep that same reportage style today in my photography. 17 years on and I can honestly say I love wedding photography as much now as I did then. All of the weddings I have shot have been different and it’s that uniqueness that I still find exciting and enjoy.

He was the first photographer we met with and the only one - as we cancelled other appointments following this. We loved his natural style of photography and being able to capture the moment naturally - without you even noticing him there. Each photo so full of emotion taking you right back to your wedding day.
We were both quite nervous about our photo shoot but this ended up being one of our favorite moments in the day. Chris just made us feel so comfortable and easy. I would highly recommend Chris. He is reliable, honest, fun, and extremely talented.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chris took our wedding photos this year and we highly recommend him. We absolutely love the finished product. He was fantastic at communicating before and during the wedding. He listened to what we wanted and came up with some great ideas. Was keen to give anything a go. He was great at putting the groups together, but the spontaneous shots of people in the crowd are amazing.
What was fantastic was how fast he had photos back to us.

He was really lovely and genuine to work with and helpful discussing our day in terms of logistics when I wasn't very organised with planning when we first met over coffee. He was cooperative when it came to accommodating our wants and because we didn't want the photos to take up too big a portion of the day, he was super efficient and raced around very enthusiastically to get as many pics as poss in a short timeframe and generous with time taking lots of photos without us even noticing really. We were very happy with the results, he made a 41 yr old old with a toy boy husband who is 12 years younger look better than him so you can't really ask for much more than that...!!! Thanks Chris!! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chris is a great guy - fun, super professional, quick and helpful with his correspondence, and made the whole photography aspect of our wedding easy.
We really appreciated that he took the time to arrange to meet us prior to our wedding to scope the venue, and run us through his plans for the day as well as took on what ideas we had and liked.
On the day, he was around catching the best moments, but never in the way. He also managed the ‘rounding up’ of everyone after the ceremony for the photos we wanted - no easy feat!
We love the photos we’ve received and are so impressed with the quality and his eye for great photo opportunities.
We had a great time with him and couldn’t recommend him more.

But his presence on the big day was easy going, professional and great with our kids. He went with the flow and captured the feel of the day perfectly. Chris managed to also capture such elegant photos, all in the “real moment” as they happened. We felt at ease with Chris and like he wasn’t even there allot of the time, so we had those special moments as a couple as well. I would highly recommend Chris to everyone!!
