★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a 2 story facility, seems old and older stores that city fitness probably opened or acquired. None the less, it is a gym and a busy one. 1 machine each for a specific exercise and has a nice set of treadmills.
The gym layout is busy as well. It is on a very good location and that tells why inspite of old installation and some worn out machines, it still is so busy. It has nice parking lot and a but stop right outside the gym.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's okay. Most of the equipment is a little older, a little worn down. The layout is kind of weird. But the staff are friendly, and the weights are heavy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Has a good selection of machines though free weights can be quite congested at peak times. I have found the group fitness options quite good. Old building is showing some wear and tear around the edges but biggest issue I have is a real need to upgrade some aspects of the locker room. There is only one hand dryer for everyone to use in the men's facilities. As of 18 May '22, no hot water.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great gym amd equipment. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Had a chat with the gym manager who came out of his office to make sure I was good. Was just visiting the gym while in Wellington, but would definitely join this gym.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really good gym but the gym might need to have maybe some cleaners to clean up after the gym each night so it is safe for the morning people.
The community at city fitness is truly sensational. Everyone is really supportive of each other!!
