β β β β β Very glad we stopped here for a wine tasting. Whole experience was delightful, from the pretty chapel setting, to the lovely woman informing us about the vineyard history, to the excellent wine itself.

β β β β β Beautiful cellar door located in a small chapel. Their vineyards are replete with wildflowers and healthy vines, and the wines showcase their distinctive terroir. Excellent hospitality and attention to detail.

β β β β β Clos Henri was our destination in Blenheim. The wines are really unique for NZ. It has classic characters of French (Sancerre) wines. Love the way they do the wine tasting. Personally, my favorite Marlborough winery!

β β β β β Beautiful setting in the old church. Hostess was amazing, informative and knowledgeable. Great story about the establishment of this vineyard. Great wine also. Will definitely visit this hidden gem again.

β β β β β Came to Marlborough for the long weekend and booked a tour at Clos Henri as our first stop; absolutely phenomenal and would recommend to anyone interested in good wine, history of the region and viticulture. Lara was an incredible host and so knowledgeable about the region and wine makers. The wine beautifully reflected the different soils and land.
Can't wait to visit again soon!

β β β β β Such a niche little winery very enjoyable and surprising pleasant. The variations between clay and soil were amazing. Lara was very knowledgeable and friendly would highly recommend if passing through.

β β β β β Amazing place with great wine and even better hospitality! We did the βMeet the makerβ tour of the vineyard and winery, including a deep dive on the different blocks of grapes, soil types, and winemaking techniques in use at Clos Henri.
The team were in the middle of bringing in some Pinot noir and made us feel very welcome as we were guided through sampling wine from the tanks and barrels in the winery.
We finished up with a platter and a tasting of the bottled wines by the chapel. An unforgettable experience!
