We went and had a look at the lookout first before driving down to the dam to have a swim.
It was so beautiful and had lots of fish throughout the stream and the water was so fresh and beautiful.
I loved swimming there as well as looking at the view from the Clyde Lookout.
There's an information board there where you can read about the history of it.
As well as a steep curvy road to get there. If you have the time I recommend dropping in and having a look. Super nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful lookout BUT be aware that the street /road is better to walk instead of driving. Really dangerous not suitable for caravans or especially when it is wet.
