★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A warm welcome by Anne, showing us to our spacious room and adjoining ensuite , ensured we would relax in their B&B. Whether enjoying the sea views from their lounge, or wandering across to the beach to enjoy it up close and personal, the area exudes "relaxation". Anne's homemade bread,fruit salad from the garden, and baking,spoilt us! Anne and Grant love to spend time with their guests and swap interests, stories and life experiences. The prefect hosts offering wonderful value for money. We will return!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had to stop on our way to Christchurch as it had gotten dark and we wanted to enjoy the ocean road drive. After checking for motels on our way from Picton we chanced up on the Coastal Lodge and wow! It was a welcome surprise to find a room that night and the hosts were just wonderful. They welcomed us just like family and gave us a comfortable room to stay. We highly recommend this place for a stay for anyone driving from Pickton to Christchurch

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I needed somewhere to stay between Kaikoura and Blenheim where I could charge my EV and was so pleased I found this place on the web. Hosts were very welcoming, the continental breakfast was huge and tasty and the room comfortable and spacious. Such a relief as this was at the limit of my Leaf's range heading north... come morning the battery was full and I could carry on. Thanks, Ian :)
