β β β β β 7th Aug 2021 tried to get a drink from a drinks dispenser at Albany shopping centre, put in $10 note but no drink, tried to get money back but machine had a fault, rang the 0800 number but because it was a weekend had to leave a message
Informed the help desk regarding this
Received a text on the Monday asking for my address for a voucher for 4 x 600 ml coke as compensation, replied that I don't drink coke as I was trying an iced coffee and that I wanted my $10 back so it would have cost me for the so called free voucher.
Should be money back and free voucher for any product not just coke.
It was a few days later and received another text asking for my bank details for a direct payment
As this was before lockdown was expecting this to appear in my account, wrong, after several phone calls still no deposit, their excuse is really busy and staff working from home because of covid, I pointed out that this was before lockdown so no excuse
As of today (6/9/21) no deposit
They make millions of dollars a year and can't be kind enough to give back what is a mere drop in the ocean
Not impressed
Finally after a few calls, received a full refund via internet banking
