★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Edit: I've lifted my rating due to Supreme subsequently coming back to me to say they will now honour the EDM promo offer they made me, so credit due for doing that.
Good coffee, but really let down by poor marketing practice and customer service. I've supported this brand for a while now, both via New World and online purchases. Supreme sent me an EDM 'thank you' discount code offer for my next online purchase. No restrictions, no date limit, no quantity limit, no sense of urgency, just "next time you're online" said the email. Excitedly, I went to use the discount code 2 days later ordering more than I normally would, but encountered problems with their website accepting it - 'code not valid'. Emailed Supreme to see what the issue was...no answer. Followed up with a second email and got a reply saying they'd disabled the code because they got a large influx of orders and "the promo was way more popular" than they predicted. I certainly didn't receive any email to tell me the code was disabled, so completely wasted my time trying to order. Kinda EDM marketing 101 here... plan for best case scenario, ie large influx of orders you can't cope with - then add mechanisms so you can manage things, and maintain customer satisfaction. I've had a really disappointing customer experience here and they've probably lost me as a customer for good. There's a lot of good coffee choices out there.
