★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a truly unethical, unpleasant and exploitative organization. They are highly disorganized and do not pay their instructors. Classes do not happen as promised, despite being advertised classes to members upon signing up. My friend and I who taught yoga here are just a few unfortunate instructors involved in a continuing struggle to get paid and receive some kind of communication from their head office.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have still not been refunded as promised 3 months after the Queen St Configure Express closed without warning - only 2 weeks after I signed up. The gym head office has been fraudulent, deceiving and has stolen from it's members. I've reported them to the Commerce Commission and intend to take further action. Avoid this gym like the plague

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Working for this company may have been the worst experience of my life. For the short period of 7 weeks it has caused nothing but stress and tears. The members and staff that I worked with at the Queen St branch were amazing however head office were unorganized particularly with paying their staff on time with the accurate amounts. Every payment date, there would always be an issue whether "their internet was down" or "don't worry the payment will go through" which it never did. I had to personally call the staff in head office almost every pay day and beg for my payment as it was usually days late. It should not be like this, head office really needs to be more organised and concern their employees as they have bills to pay too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Configure are dirty disgusting thieves. I joined their Papakura gym last year and paid for a full years membership. A month later they shut down. They kept promising ke a refund for months and now they just don't respond to contact at all. I'm sure they knew they were shutting down because we never got membership cards. Don't join any of their branches because there are no guarantees you won't end up in the same boat. I can't afford another gym membership when I lost so much on this one. They are dispicable greedy thieves.
