We decided to try local after Covid-19 and support local businesses. Wow! Exorbitant price to put a new switch in. Twice the amount from my usual Papamoa sparky' s quote. We should have continued to use them, our mistake entirely!!!

Debbie was very friendly and arranged for an electritian to come out to help me on short notice. The electritian Simon did a neat job and sort out my problem in a short time. I definitely reccomend this company for quick efficient service.

EDITED AFTER OWNERS RESPONSE: Attached a photo of my call log from the 9th Feb showing me calling you at 3:30 to see where the electrician was. Then you calling me back at 4:19 to tell me you would not be coming out,the reason I got at the time was that there was a double booking , 'Ray's fault' according to the lady on the phone. As for why you hadn't been informed about the actions of your employee, I think that would be a question for your employee. I personally would have thought an incident like that were health and safety of you employee and customer was at risk plus risking further damage to the appliance would be reported to you by them. Never a good sign when an electrician is apologizing to you as he's fixing your oven. I think for you to try and write it off as hear say is fairly irresponsible but maybe that's the way you guys run things. Aotea Electric Te Puke Ltd/ Conway and Carpenter Electrical sent a 'young electrician' around to diagnose a oven that wasn't working, while diagnosing oven ,he grounded the mains power to the metal oven, with the probe of his tester, causing a loud bang and shower of sparks. This left the electrician visibly shaking and apologising. It was determined that the oven screen was faulty and they would try and source a new one. After waiting a couple of days without hearing anything ,.and still without a oven I contacted them to be told no parts were available and the oven would have to be replaced. An appointment was scheduled for the next week to install a new oven. After waiting about half an hour past the scheduled appointment time, I contacted the office only to be told the electrician was running late but would be there shortly. Another hour or so past before i received a call to tell me that they wouldn't be coming and that the next available appointment would be in 5 days. Having already been without a oven for over a week, this wasn't good enough. I ended up calling another company who came around the following day and installed the oven. Still got sent a bill which I rang them to dispute but was basically ignored so payed.
