Great spot to warm up after bishopdale park! Very nice coffee and pie, and some delicious sweet treats! Plenty of seating, and I love the Copenhagen city pics on the wall

You should visit Copenhagen bakery. It is a experience in Christchurch. They are award winning bakers and it shows. But get in early rhwy do sell out. I tried a steak and cheese pie, there were big chunks of steak, a thick savoury gravy and the party was buttery and crisp. Definitely a must see.

Great food and good service. Easy parking off the street if you’re in a vehicle and also we’re really looking forward to the cycle lane when it goes in. Will make it heaps easier to stop and grab a quick bite when we’re going past on our bikes. Copenhagen Bakery will become more like a bakery in Copenhagen :-)

Honestly amazing. Went there for breakfast and ended up leaving with takeaways for lunch as well. Will definitely visit again before leaving Christchurch. Personal faves were the chicken satay roll and the egg and bacon croissant.

Lovely bread and European plus NZ treats on offer. Probably the best bakery in Christchurch. Only ever been disappointed twice. Once when they stopped selling my favourite treat, the roast veg and chic calzone and the overly oily carrot cake muffin/cup cake. The carrot cake was so oily it stuck to my fingers and you could taste the oil. Apart from that this bakery is divine.

Great place to find really good treats (not that obvious in NZ ;). A bit on expensive side, overall great experience.

Brought a pie and chocolate eclairs. The jam in the chocolate eclairs was to much for me and it was mainly on one side if they had it on top it would be easier for me to take it out but this is my preference only . Both were good , service was great aswell. It always seems to be busy here everytime we pass by. Yes I would go back here again.

Have to say I was disappointed today, brought 3 of the vanilla bean custArd squares the morning of the 14 of Feb for Valentine’s Day and had kept them in the fridge all day, after leaving them out for a wee bit to make them slightly warmer we tucked in. To find that the pastry was chewy and a darker brown than normal, tasted like the pastry had been over cooked….. the last time I brought these was before the quakes when they were in town, very noticeable reduction in custard as well but the overcooked pastry was very disappointing. Looked fine, tasted ok but the pastry wasn’t the best.
