★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Convenient location and clean store with good, helpful staff.
I would not recommend it as a place to buy good fresh fruit and vegetables, as the quality and freshness often leaves a lot to be desired (think limp celery, very bruised zucchini). Good in a pinch - but better quality produce at other stores.
Unfortunately, due to size, it also has a rather limited selection and depending on what day of the week you go you may find under-stocked selections like bread and eggs. Also appears to simply not stock certain items like a better range of quick meal sauces, or bulk items like table salt or barley. This means you do not get the same variety or savings. It's due to the small size of the store, and the ordering decisions made by the bosses in Auckland. But for most basics and for a last minute dinner decision - it's very convenient.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great little ride up and back again. Had a look around the cable car museum. There is the option to wander back down via the Botanic gardens.
Return trip for an adult is $7:50 at the time of review (January 2018) and one way ride costs $4:00

Fairly spacious and well stocked single level store.
Well staffed. Has manned checkouts and also self service checkouts.
Cash and credit card accepted.
Public and disabled toilets / rest rooms located inside. Is a wheel chair friendly facility. Has free WIFI.
