★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A massive thank you to ?Sue. My son is away from home, 17, studying at SIT Invers. Unfortunately this week he caught Covid and seems to have a yuk dose. We live in Canterbury and it's hard not being there to support him. He became an online countdown shopper for the first time today in order to get supplies in etc. They (?Sue)could not have been more helpful even offering to drop supplies to him after work.
So very much appreciated by this mum xx

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was very busy. The information desk covers lotto, phone calls, online pick ups & customer enquiries. This area was maned by 1 person this morning. The staff member did the best possible but many customers were waiting for some time due to the lack of staffing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best places for your shopping in Invercargill. The best thing is that it is open till midnight. A well arranged place, with great customer service, a great car park and a wide range of products. Veggies are comparatively fresh from other places. Frozen foods are also good when compared to others. All in all Countdown is awesome.
I have bought one blender from there, and after 3 months it stopped working. I got to them and without any issues they gave the full refund that I paid for the product. Really good customer service :)

Isolating at present and waited all week for our delivery - quite dissapointing on more than one front. But rotten fruit was the clincher for us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A bit of work to do with customer service. Justine the new manager is on to it and very approachable. Shame a couple let the whole team down. Nice and clean stores, easy to find items and overall a good store to shop at.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Feels a bit more chaotic than the usual Countdown, maybe because it seems they've just reorganized and everyone is still milling around trying to find stuff. Some things understandably out of stock due to supply chain issues. Four stars regardless because it's a Countdown and you can get your groceries, so it serves its purpose despite the minor chaos.
