★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I like this seems compact but has everything branch. The entrance area is the bakery section which is always welcoming. I did see litters in the area where trolleys are parked.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean and up market newly renovated additional floor space and car park doubling the capacity also has pharmacy and Robert Harris Coffee shop, Coffee on the go or coffee and shop. As with all countdown store has great variety keep an eye on pricing if you are a value shopper. But great all round experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Outstanding vegetables and fruits. Even better selection of cheeses including the spectacular and awards winning special brand Over the Moon. This is a good supermarket.
From 1 January 2019 this store will need to address how people with mobile shopping trolleys can use the self service facility to utilize this way of shopping. Not everyone wants to carry a heavy bag. I pointed this out to 2 staff members and they noted they'll discuss their service improvement to ensure that this can occur. It'd be great if this was the first Countdown in Auckland to effect this improvement.

A short man approaches self checkout.
A woman in countdown uniform, blue mask and no glasses, yells aggressively at his face.
He replies back politely only to listen to worthless excuses from the staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff on till very helpful with other customers as well as myself, she rang the bell 4 times for assistance with the customer ahead of me, wasn't until I was processed and an apology I thanked her did she have assistance from someone. Note to Countdown it is very hard to find GOOD STAFF, that why Countdown gets a 4 Star .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just astonishing. The service is to die for, honestly, I think the staff are all really cool. Has what u need, broccoli, and like, beans ND stuff. But also other stuff. If you need like food and household general stuff, then this is probably a good place to go. Like, if you happen to be within about 1.4km of this location.
