Gorgeous Rustic Cottage in an unbeatable setting! From the moment I inquired, Jeremy was easy to contact, endlessly helpful, and genuinely wanted to make sure we would be comfortable and happy staying at the cottage. Being just out of Arrowtown, he made sure we knew our way to both the necessities and the local attractions. Feeling like we were in the wilderness, but being only 5 minutes drive to Arrowtown shops and 15 minutes to Queenstown, the location was incredible. Not to mention the amazing views on all sides (particularly whilst enjoying a cuppa at the breakfast table). The home itself was very tastefully presented, in keeping with the mountain getaway headline. Crackling log fire was already roaring on arrival. The living /kitchen /dining / games room downstairs was a great space that kept the family together and felt very cosy. Bathroom is stunning and has a wet room style overhead shower and a deep bath (also has a heater for the chilly mornings!) Access to the bedrooms upstairs is via an external stairway, which I'm sure may be a little outside some peoples comfort zone, but we found it fine, only really going up the stairs to sleep, and coming down them to start the day. Just as inviting was being able to go for amazing walks around the homestead, with trails leading through pine forests, around their vineyard (their pinot gris is amazing!) and down to the river below making for a great start or finish to the day! The hosts, Jeremy and Vicki, are endearing, good hearted people that really want to make sure you enjoy your stay any way they can. They were always available and incredibly helpful, all whilst they were in preparation for the arrival of their first born! we thought this was unbelievably selfless in what was surely, a frantic and stressful time in their lives. For anyone looking for a tranquil setting for their holiday in this beautiful part of the world, I couldn't recommend this place highly enough. It's far enough away from everything to feel rural and serene, but a short drive will have you bustling through all that Arrowtown and Queenstown have to offer. So much better than having to choose between amenity and seclusion. I don't think we'll ever stay anywhere else when coming to this part of the world. Absolutely stunning property with a view that can't be beaten and with every comfort that you need. Amazing price considering it's location, there is nothing in the area that even comes close to it for the same price. The hosts are very friendly too. Highly recommend staying here to everyone, you won't regret it.

Fantastic view. Pool table in living area gives you something else to do. Coffee machine. Free bottle of their wine on arrival. Great experience staying in stone cottage with stone floor stone walls. Feel like you get a real holiday/break

Surprisingly excellent accommodation, tucked away above Arrowtown. Very classy modern renovations to a barn, with an amazing bathroom. Comes with a complimentary bottle of wine as it's on a vinyard too! Hosts were also very hospitable.

What a fantastic place to stay, and what fantastic hosts! everything from start to finish was beyond fantastic! Our whole family loved the holiday, especially due to this nice place we stayed at. Everything was taken care of beforehand, and the hosts, were super kind, and quick with any request we had. Cant recommend them highly enough! Oh, and they even make their own wine!

What a wonderful getaway, right in Queenstown back yard. I visited the cottage yesterday for a wedding and the cottage delivered everything we wanted. In all honesty the wedding was quite small to the venue worked for us, (30-45 people) However, for larger crowds your maybe having a bit more trouble. Nevertheless, in my experience and my time there over the last 2 days the Creagh Cottage is nothing short of fantastic. With it's wonderful stone walls and HUGE fireplace to its bedrooms and glorious view, I would love to come back here again soon. I would recommend! ☺️ (In all transparency we only used the lower cottage and not the one that is slightly higher in elevation next to it. But that one looks great too!) ?☺️
