Crown Badges was established in 1973 and is a family owned/operated company that has been providing high quality name badges, signage, trophies and awards.
About Crown Badges & Engravers
Crown Badges was started in 1973 engraving Formica badges out of a spare room on a manual Pantograph. The company grew and subsequently changed hands in May 1987, and has remained in the same family ever since.
In more modern times, Crown caters to a largely domestic market, manufacturing products such as sliding door signs, desk stands, directory signs, metal lapel pins, trophies and awards, medals, and of course name badges. A lot of our products are manufactured on a large UV Printer which allows full colour print onto almost any flat surface. This, plus the ability to ‘print’ textures, gives us a huge degree of flexibility to create new and innovative products not often seen in the New Zealand market.
Engraving, vinyl application, laser cutting/engraving, thermal transfer printing, resin doming and media shot blasting are all methods that are often used in our workshop to provide effective solutions to client jobs.
