β β β β β Ordered a large shipment of 7 readymade curtains online on a Monday morning - They arrived mid afternoon on Wednesday. Super easy to use sizes/options with exceptionally fast service! Well impressed!

β β β β β We have had the pleasure of working alongside Cath at Curtain Studios for quite some time now, getting curtains and blinds for our Motel complex. She has been so lovely to get along with and nothing has been a bother to her! She came out and pre-measured all of our rooms so that it was quick and easy to replace nets etc. as needed. We would highly recommend Cath and her service and professionalism.

β β β β β Very poor customer service. Seem unorganised, the consultant didn't even bring any samples and said there was only 2 options. She turned up in what looked like beach wear and did not look professional or like she was representing curtain studio. She said I could come to the shop to see the white and charcoal options she mentioned. When I went to the shop there was in fact other options. When I asked her about those she said oh yes you can have those but they are more expensive... I was shocked she didn't even think to offer them to me. I had specifically asked for them to be back rolled, they called me saying they were ready and I brought them home only to find they were not back rolled. I called and they initially said that they could be fixed at my house only to find out that the guy I spoke to "says some unique things" (according to the other person I spoke to) and had to be sent away to the warehouse for fixing. She came and collected them and said she didn't know how long it would take but would let me know when they were back. The consultant was supposed to call me and let me know when she would be able to bring them but instead just turned up on my door step at about 6pm, sweaty from the gym, and said oh hey I've got your curtains, I left my phone at home - according to her she only lives around the corner from me..
We then tried to install them only to find that they had been re rolled crooked and when installed you couldn't even wind them up as they would bunch and crinkle. I called again and they sent out a contractor to see what was wrong who said sorry they have to be taken away to be re rolled. At this point I said no thanks and requested a refund. The refund was processed and I've heard nothing about when they will collect the blinds. Avoid them if you can, if you need something cheap then be prepared for the hassle and stress that this company will give you!

β β β β β Have used Curtain Studio several times successfully in the past for rental property curtains but they've gone downhill - this time was a disaster from start to finish. After struggling just to get someone to contact me to do a quote, an out of town installer didn't put up all the curtains as the lounge curtains got 'lost'. He didn't care as it wasn't his issue and when I tried to enquire about the 'lost' curtains the Auckland 'contact' center were terrible to deal with as they simply never returned phone calls even when they promised to ring right back. When the curtains were finally located several weeks later after I gave up on the Auckland contact center and went into the local store and harrassed them, another installer didn't keep his appointment, and when he did install them he put new curtains over the old curtains - didn't even bother taking the old curtains down! Told the tenants he'd had a long day. No way I'll be using this firm again..

β β β β β Update: We heard back from the store and they have re-ordered and put up a new blind for the window above our bed. The new one is much longer and wider than the original one. Now almost no light comes in from that window. Now the darkening for the room is acceptable.
The following is the original review.
----------------
Unprofessional. We are extremely unsatisfied with the outcome.
When their staff came for measurement, we asked and emphasised multiple times that we want good light blockout for the master bedroom. They suggested roller blinds for windows (on sale at that time) and drapes for slider doors. We emphasised multiple times that the room needs good blockout for light. The staff thought their suggestion would work fine. But this is how it looks now. It is nothing close to good light blockout, and definitely not what we expect.
We called them again after instalment, and said the above. Another staff came to have an inspection, and said there is nothing she could do - that looks fine to them. We told her that we asked for light blockout, and this is not what we want. She said that she will talk to the manager and get back to me. It has been 4 weeks, and I haven't heard from them yet. I will call and try resolve this.
I do not recommend this store. It is clear to me that they are unprofessional to propose a good solution for customers, and unprofessional for post-sale support.
